We are throwing one hell of an Easter party this year as we host the official Nottingham date for the prolific London disco night Scandalism. This Easter weekend, Scandalism are going on a UK-wide tour with Yuksek and Alex Metric’s brand new collaborative project, ‘The Alexanders’, at the helm.
Two long-term Scandalism favourites, we’re expecting huge things from the dynamic union of producers that is Yuksek and Alex Metric. With each party pushing an individually distinct sound, they’ve come together to create something truly special.
Get acquainted (if you haven’t already) with their anthemic debut single ‘Don’t Miss’. Receiving huge radio play from the likes of Annie Mac, the Partyfine release is sure to go far…
Joined the tropical disco fun is nu-disco champ Might Mouse. Coming into his own this year with the release of ‘Darkness’, a soul-shaking disco stomper under his Du Tonc alias, he’s an essential addition to the billing.
The Alexanders (Yuksek & Alex Metric) Providing:
Tropical | Dance | House
The Alexanders – the idea of heaven combining two heavyweight artists Yuksek and Alex Metric. Their debut track ‘Don’t Miss’ features vocals from the lovely Anna Lunoe and is already getting magnificent support within the scene after being premiered by no other than Annie Mac.
Partyfine head honcho Yuksek is no stranger to the disco and tropical scene as the French producer has worked with STFD favourites such as The Magician, Aeroplane, Crayon, Zimmer and Breakbot. Adding to this list is Alex Metric who’s sound is deeply rooted in earliest styles of underground dance music, touching on Disco, Funk, Chicago House and Detroit Techno as well as Indie Rock. The perfect soundtrack for sweaty, dimly lit lofts and huge festivals the world over.
Mighty Mouse Providing:
Tropical | Disco | House
We love Mighty Mouse… we really do! This prolific Mouse has notched up an impressive array of achievements in such a short space of time, firmly establishing himself on the electronic music scene with his unique disco inspired productions and his energetic DJ shows. Alongside his Du Tonc alias, Mighty Mouse finds himself equally at home behind a pair of decks as he does in the studio. Constant touring has seen him DJ across Europe, Australia, a debut US tour in 2012 along with numerous festival dates and a summer in Ibiza, most recently at Amnesia and Café Mambo.
