For the 6th year running , and after a summer-long residency in Ibiza, Flying Circus returns to quietly invade the Caribbean coast for their annual New Year’s Eve winter reveling. Globally renowned for erupting raucous dance parties in far-flung geographic locations, Flying Circus will yet again touch down in Mexico winter 2014.
On December 31st the sun-seekers secret hideaway, Tulum, will play host to Flying Circus’ much anticipated annual ode to the winter sun. Not a bad setting first sunrise of 2014.
Flying Circus has been perking industry ears for some time now with a hefty artist roster and an equally rigorous international touring schedule. The circus has popped up 60+ events in over 30 countries worldwide in 2013, beckoning over 100,000 party-goers to events. This year’s Ibiza summer residency adds credence to all the hype; Flying Circus is one of the top global party brands to look out for, bringing names like Carl Craig, Little Dragon, Martin Buttrich, Lee Burridge, Tiefschwarz, Benoit & Sergio, Steve Bug, Dop, Blond:ish, M.A.N.D.Y, Robag Wruhme, Matthew Johnson, Finnebassen & Dj Tennis to the epicenter of the summer music scene on a weekly basis while also maintaining multiple off island gatherings from Kazantip Festival, to The Netherlands, Croatia and London.
The annual Caribbean NYE event has set the stage for global success as the longest running and most successful single Techno/Underground event in Mexico in the 20th century. Flying Circus features on the international festival circuit from WMC Miami to Movement Detroit, Sonar Barcelona, ADE Amsterdam and Ibiza… But Mexico holds a special place in the Flying Circus heart, offering rejuvenation from busy summer touring and giving the FC family time to let loose, unwind and play with the gang.
What to Expect:
Flying Circus NYE promises No boundaries, no restrictions....no comparison! The Concept and the environment are in perfect harmony!
“We remember the days when Playa del Carmen was the sun-seekers winter haven, a bit like Tulum is now…deserted Beaches, no neighbors, just Pelicans in "V" formation and the occasional turtle.
Of course, these days, life has moved on. PDC has gone and got ALL grown Up! …But we haven't. We are still exploring caves in the dark, chasing Glow-bugs, climbing trees, making tree houses and falling out of them, like 30 year old kids who refuse to grow up! And we have found our playground in Tulum! ” – Flying Circus Family
About Flying Circus
The Flying Circus concept was birthed, like all the best ideas, by accident. The aim? To celebrate life with good people while enjoying great music. Simple. Flying Circus brings together the music loving family to climb the walls in primal elation, surrendering our bodies to pure auditory joy. It’s primal and gritty and speaks to your soul with no glossy adjectives. In the true fashion of a travelling circus the touring party has amassed a cult like following, a tribe of music aficionados, jetsetters, sun-seekers, revelers and connoisseurs of good vibes. The parties’ far flung organic locations, and dedication to keepin’ it real speak in resonant bass and cattle bells to a primitive desire to immerse our ears in sound and let our bodies go.
‘We dunno if Techno can be Zen, but we are trying!!!’ Flying Cicrcus Founders, Audiofly
As dance music picks up more and more worldwide notoriety, soulful enthusiasts seek an escape from the glitz and the glamour. Developed six years ago by Audiofly at Miami WMC, with the aim of throwing a wicked party with their mates, Flying Circus is the house music rebuttal to the mainstream, where people from around the world can reconnect with their deep, party loving roots and dance the night away in equal company. The party's ethos is about unadulterated goodness (in all its many forms); aesthetically pleasing, no bullshit and accompanied by that distinct Flying Circus sound and attitude, stripping away the excess showmanship and replacing it with cool.
