Building on stints at Tresor and Hardwax in the late 90s, Ancient Methods was formed in 2005, with marbled vinyl releases on the eponymous label commencing in 2007 and continuing to be rolled out consistently up to the present day.
Collaborations with Regis (Sandwell District) led to the well-received "Ugandan Methods" releases on Downwards and AM. Other notable releases and remixes have surfaced on labels such as Perc Trax, Sonic Groove, RSB, Prosthetic Pressings, and Fondation Sonore.
Ever since its inception, the project has fuelled a diverse movement within the electronic music scene, breaking free of the zeitgeist, with an immeasurable global impact on listeners, DJs, and producers.
To put it simply, the sound represents Techno at its visceral best.
