Geradehaus strikes back with its fourth edition at Prince Charles. This time the four-headed team spread their tentacles over Brooklyn -arguably- the trendiest neighbourhood around. Before a bunch of white-skinny-zombie-hipsters invaded the streets where Al Capone and company gave their first gunshots, Jovonn -a true NY survivor and “the last Don” of Garage- was already blasting sound systems and composing all sorts of stripped to the bone and ultra-funkied house music for a myriad of labels -his productions for his own Goldtone Recordings are reaching outrageous prices-. Due to a string of powerful represses commanded by Millions Of Moments, Jovonn's figure has been discovered for a brand new generation of producers that were searching from the lost soul of house music.
Luckily, Jovonn's credentials are not all about his past. With regular radio shows, new releases on Objektivity and a busy agenda as DJ and music stirrer, “The Don” keeps itself as busy as during his most glorious days bringing his pumping beats and torrid vocals to a whole new parish of music lovers.
Also slated to perform on the night are Kim Brown, an always ascending duo with mesmerising underground house anthems released on Rimini, Rivulet and Just Another Beat that have rapidly gained the attention of Berlin's most intrepid connoisseurs. Setting the mood right at the beginning of the night and closing the main floor a few hours later, our eccentric team of residents -Baughman, Moon & Mann & JMII- will bring the heat again to Prince Charles with a fine selection of the very best danceable material you're not still aware of.
If you already know Paris is for lovers, now it's time to realise that Geradehaus is made for you
