A new monthly residency showcasing the best in electronic music at Chelsea’s state-of-the-art venue Under the Bridge.
After the run away success of their launch with Greg Wilson, Maxxi Soundsystem, Horse Meat Disco, Yoghurt Warrior presents Shark Bait and Concrete Disco, Ritual kicked off March with another exceptional night.....bringing together Stanton Warriors, Hervé, Felix Martin (Hot Chip), Tempo Tantrum DJ's and Coda for a breathtaking show, even throwing in a live Harlem Shake; little by little establishing a night in West London to rival the over saturated East London electronic scene. This April Ritual continue in their mission to put Chelsea back on the map and bring forward thinking line ups to an area overlooked for so long. If their sell out launch and 2nd instalment were anything to go by....its is just what Chelsea has been crying out for.
Ritual is a brand new monthly night from the team behind Tempo Tantrum and The Music League championing the best in electronic music, taking place at stylish and recently launched West London music venue Under the Bridge. Bringing forward-thinking line-ups to an area of London which has historically only catered for a mainstream crowd, Ritual is set to be a rite of passage for any electronic music enthusiast, showcasing the best sounds across the electronic spectrum including house, techno, electro, breaks, funky, disco and bass.
At a time when electronic music is such a dominant force, an acute emphasis on sound and visuals is imperative and this is something the venue very much prides itself on. A hidden gem and the perfect home for Ritual, Under the Bridge is purpose-built with the highest attention to detail, and features stunning, state-of-the-art sound and lighting. The only venue of its kind in the area, it features an immense State of the art LED screen which provides a very impressive backdrop to the stage. The residency will also be involving Deerstalker, the artists responsible for the visuals at the sell-out Brixton Academy show ‘Leftfield and Friends’- a unique and exciting touch. Additionally, the 500 capacity venue and its location in the heart of West London (located beneath Chelsea Football Club's stadium), offers a much-needed fresh alternative to east London’s over-saturated and monotonous market.
