In a very short space of time these Pachanga Boys have made a very large impact on the electronic music scene with one of the biggest (and arguably one of the longest) tracks of the last 12 months, Time. With their most recent release, Christine, currently doing big things on dance floors and their new artist album due to drop later this month, it goes without saying that we are super excited to have them over to Dublin this December to play alongside our international resident and collaborator Ivan Smagghe. Both Superpitcher and Rebolledo have serious pedigree in their own right with acclaimed releases such as Rabbits In A Hurry and Super Vato respectively. Their sound has been best described as “off-kilter dub, house, disco with some post-punk influences that venture down that mysterious road known as avant-pop”.
Drawing from a lot of influences, one could say then. Ivan has been waxing lyrical about these guys work for some while now so we felt that it was about the right time to invite them over with him. This will be a new departure for Ivan as it will be his first gig outside of Kennedy’s for us. Expect big things to reflect the bigger venue!
