OneMore at Hearn St Car Park is now becoming a much awaited for event every month for people from all over London. The venue, the state-of-the-art sound and lighting, the LIVE Vj by master Sofine over 5 screens blended into one and the pure energy of the music from world class guests plus our talented residents makes OneMore an unmissable experience!
Summer's coming to an end but OneMore gets stronger and stronger...
We are very happy to showcase Mathias Kaden's unique style for a rare London's (and even rarer warehouse) appearance! For the occasion we also invited our good friend Cesare vs Disorder. Definitely one not to be missed!
Mathias Kaden is for 11 years and counting a first-rate ‘turn-tablist’ in the record-rotation disciplines. For both training- and competitive exercises he utilizes the basics: 2 turntables, a mixer and painstakingly selected vinyl. With such equipment he nightly compels both listeners and casual spectators alike into a sportive revelry on the dance floor.
For a while, he has been using different types of percussion elements. The result is an enjoyable rhythm, which communicates with its audience in a very particular way. In a playful approach, he creates an incredible repertoire of feelings that reproduces within the crowd. Mathias’ various sets include the following sound features: funky, freaky, dashing, dub, slamming, enriched by African and South American percussions.
ogether with Marek Hemman, Mathias released 4 EPs on the label Freude am Tanzen and 4 own EPs on Vakant. Amongst others, he also did remixes for Matthias Tanzmann, Onur Özer, Dapayk, Anja Schneider, Daniel Stefanik and Trentemöller.
Alas listeners and dancers, allow me to take leave and let the sound of this young man splash onto your eardrums. Take it from the German proverb: ‘To write about music is to dance about architecture!’.
Cesare vs Disorder
Mean and Serialism label boss, thanks to his many releases on other labels such as Vakant (Germany), Dumb Unit (Canada), Clink (USA) Stock5 (Germany), Thema (USA), Safari Elec- tronique (Uk), SthlmAudio (Switzerland), Archipel (Canada), Remake Musique (France), Resopal (Germany), to name a few, he has been bringing his sounds in every corner of the earth for a few years now.
Having lived for many years in London, last year Cesare relocated to Berlin, a city that he's always held close to his heart, and is currently working on his first album due in Winter 2012. With a new residency at Kater Holzig (new Bar25), a Serialism label night at Watergate and a Mean re- cord night at Weekend Club, Cesare continues to set Berlin's nightlife ablaze.
