  • Bugged Out returns to Canvas for the second time this year (and possibly the last what with the place closing down on January 1st!) and a stellar bill has been arranged.Playing London for the first time in AGES is Mylo whose Destroy Rock’n’Roll album has now attained classic status. Mylo will be playing out some new material he has been working on for his second album alongside some old faves and recent club bangers. This is a very special date for us and Mylo’s only dj date in London this year (or since Jan 5th anyway!). Busy Swede John Dahlback was amazing when he played for us in July at The End so we’ve been eager to bring him back to London. He’s since had a rather large hit with Blink but continually pumps out great underground techno and this year has so far released nine tracks under his own name, not to mention the five releases as Kaliber, one as Jetboy and the Hug album on Kompakt. The man’s a tune machine! Joining them is Williams who is also one of the musicians in Mylo’s band and he has also released some top tunes for Get Physical (how ace does Piccadilly Circuits still sound) and remixed top acts like The Knife. Over in room two things will be noisier with the party techno sounds of Surkin (from French label Institubes) whose Hoes Get Down is a must buy and The Filthy Dukes whose debut single The Rhythm is due soon .Matt Walsh and Casper C of Bloggers Delight warm t’ings up.
