Will Saul is one of the UK's most enigmatic electronic spokesmen. Not content with running two of the most prolific labels on the electronic map, Simple and Aus Music (the former celebrating it's 50th release last year), he's also gained an admirable reputation as a celebrated DJ and revered producer.
Simple has housed productions and remixes from artists such as Seth Troxler, Steve Bug, Gadi, Motor City Soul, Carl Craig and Dixon, developing a strong reputation for the deeper side of the house spectrum. On the other side of things, Aus Music explores more experimental sounds courtesy of Joy Orbison, Midland, George Fitzgerald and Scuba in recent years.
Production wise Will has put out a raft of acclaimed solo and collaborative work, not to mention celebrated remixes for the likes of Pearson Sound/Ramadanman, Scuba, Jesse Rose, Manuel Tur, Appleblim and The Juan Mclean. When DJing - whether as a resident at legendary London club The End or in front of more contemporary crowds - his soundtracks consist of dark disco, deep house, melodic techno and everything in between, accentuating his penchant for variety. As such this intimate date at the Kraak Gallery should make for something rather special indeed.
