Hailing from ‘The Cosmic Forest’, Psychemagik’s lush, deliriously disco electronica has garnered support from the likes of Annie Nightingale, Lauren Laverne and Rob Da Bank over the past 12 months. Support comes in the form of bloggers come producers Bicep (who are set to release on Will Saul’s Aus Music imprint in 2012) and scene documenters, the Slutty Fringe DJs.
Parisian electronic live duo, The Penelopes, have been backed and celebrated on the French underground for a number of years. Coming to the capital for some high profile collaborations, their output of elastic basslines, lush keyboards and funky guitar riffs is sure to garner household status over the next few months.
