It all started with a French horn. At the time, Robert Perlick-Molinari was part of the prestigious Northwestern University Symphony Orchestra. But he eventually found himself pushing back against the demands of playing with the orchestra. He asked his brother, David Perlick-Molinari, to join him in a new, more exciting musical pursuit, and French Horn Rebellion was born. Since then, the electro-pop duo has become a media and blog favorite with their debut single “Up All Night.” The duo collaborated with DJ Database to write a new single, “Beaches & Friends.” Database is one of the biggest electronic acts in Brazil. Together, the bands promise to create nonstop dance party.
On October 28th, French Horn Rebellion and Database will be playing at Bardot, the intimate live music venue known for the killer live music created during its “Living Room Sessions.” Whether the French horn that started it all will make a cameo is unknown. But rest assured, these artists will make music that cannot be contained within the living room or any other room.
