MAT ZO BIOGRAPHY 2011
London based musician Matan Zohar taught himself to produce dance music
at 13 years old, and by 16, he had taught himself to DJ.
By mid-2007, Mat Zo had remixed for Andy Moor, Markus Schulz, and he
became a DJ household name after Tiesto hired him to remix "Driving To
Heaven", and the remix appeared on Tiesto's internationally recognized "In
Search Of Sunrise 7" CD compilation.
Mat Zo quickly worked up the ranks to become one of the most sought after
progressive dance music producers in history. He has played in such cities
as Holland, Germany, Ukraine, Ibiza, India, and various cities in England.
Mat Zo's global reach multiplied when his Zoned monthly radio program was
picked up by Afterhours.fm the summer of 2008.
In the past couple of years Mat Zo’s fearsome reputation has grown with
th release of a swathe of stunning productions. “The Lost”, “Near The
End”, “24 Hours”, “The Found”, “Superman” and the huge collaboration
with Arty “Rebound” have been just some of the highlights of this prolific
producer’s output. His tracks have received support from the biggest names
around the world, from Armin van Buuren and Above & Beyond to the

Not bad for a 21 year old.
