Some may have thought the trail had run cold, but Battant are back. Previewing tracks off their upcoming album 'As I Ride With No Horse', (out on Kill The DJ, early October), Chloe Raunet and Joel Dever will play live at the revamped Shacklewell Arms, in the heart of trendy Dalston. If their heart still belongs to lo-fi electronics, they have taken a drummer and a new guitarist along for the romp.
They will team up with the producers of both their albums, It's a Fine Line (Tim Paris & Ivan Smagghe), who will play a rare set of musical oddities.
A night on the cheap but far from a cheap night.
