  • Lasal Arenys de Mar has closed hits doors for this summer in the beach, but, Lasal is landing over Barcelona for a last party date to say good bay to the 2011 season. Saturday the september 10th Barbena & Fred Guzzo will delightful us with a four-hand-session in Café Royale. BARBENA _ Lasal _ Producer, co-founder of lasal, and responsible of the programming and the compilations of the bar, Barbena is passionate about black and electronic sounds, groove and original productions tireless seeker. His beats has been released in Fluid Ounce and Dubmission (Londres), Sunshine (Viena), Wakyo (Tokyo), Smoking Mirrors (San Francisco), Lovemonk (Madrid), Mothern Electrics (Eivissa), in beatween others , despite remixing people like Tikiman, Senna, Pitch Black or Ian Pooley. FRED GUZZO _2 Siders _ Since he became DJ in 1986, Fred Guzzo has founded his proper style on black grooves. he draws a journey in which you can switch from jazz to boogaloo and funk or jump from house to reggae. Fred was an early active member of the first "Acid Jazz" parties ever organised in France and Switzerland around years 88 to 92. He moved to Barcelona and created Café Royale in 2000, awarded "Best Bar/European Club" by Cosmopolitan NYC both in 2003 and 2004, It forced itself to a sort of a "cult location" where you could meet Dany Krivitt, Thievery Corporation, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Kerry Chandler or musicians such as Guru, Bernard "Pretty" Purdie, Eric Clapton or Nene Cherry… When Fred Guzzo met Fred Spider They both quickly decided to create a new label called "2 siders", based on their respective influences of black music and jazz music.
