  • CONGO NATTY Michael West, better known under the aliases Conquering Lion, Rebel MC, Blackstar, Tribe Of Issachar, X Project, Ras Project and CONGO NATTY makes his Deviate debut on October 14th. A corner stone of British music during the 80s and 90s, Congo Natty is no stranger to the big stage. A name synonymous with early Jungle, this incredible artist has worked with legends such as Barrington Levy and Dennis Brown. During the 80s, West formed the group Double Trouble with Michael Menson and Karl Brown. Their single “Just Keep Rockin” reached the top 20 in the UK charts. After a change in direction West found success in Jungle with anthems such as “Junglist” and “Police In Helicopter”. On stage, Congo Natty’s DJing skills keep the energy of his musical roots and early Jungle. This man has brought down the roof of dancehalls with timeless classics such as Code Red and was a major player in the development of jungle in the 1990s. "Watch the Jungle Lion roar in this time." TENOR FLY Legendary Jungle toaster TENOR FLY, who many would call the MC’s MC is a man who has brought his vocal assaults to pretty much all the major sounds and record labels pushing bass music over the past ten years.
