dollop Present the CitiPost Warehouse Series
Limited early bird £5 tickets
2nd Release £8 tickets
More on the door
Well now it’s reopened as the Citipost Building, and London promoters Dollop have booked in a series of six parties there, taking place each Friday from February 18 to March 25. From the second week onwards, these will take the form of collaborations between Dollop and, respectively, Border Community, Kompakt, FACT, Trailer Trash and Adventures in the Beetroot Field.
FACT will be in the pilot’s seat on March 11 with a line-up that sports some of our favourite DJs and live acts from Europe and the UK, namely: Bulgaria’s KiNK, a hero amongst those that know and the man behind of two of our very favourite releases of last year in his Aphex Kink and Rachel EPs, will be presenting his celebrated live set, while Instra:mental, the drum’n'bass and beyond duo whose Autonomic approach – climaxing in last year’s Fabric CD – has won them so many converts of late, will be taking you deeper into the night with an extended set.
The tougher stuff comes in the form of two acts that showcase the best of classic and contemporary grime. Slimzee - accepted by most as the greatest grime DJ of all time, still carrying dubplates from almost a decade ago that you genuinely can’t hear anyone else play - steps in for a rare set, while modern-day figureheads Elijah and Skilliam, who have done as much as anyone to keep the sound alive and push it forward through their Butterz record label and Rinse FM show, show us what they've got.
