Widely recognized as having had more impact on dance music than any other producer over the last two years, Easter Sunday 8th April witnesses the much anticipated return to London of the magical Anders Trentemöller. The last time Trentemöller played in London over 2300 people filled the Ministry Of Sound to witness one of the greatest performances in ClubClass history. Nothing short of a complete sell out is anticipated this time round either as Trentemöller returns to deliver another outstanding live performance alongside the brilliant DJ T.O.M. Expect an onslaught of next generation electronica as this duo showcases new material alongside many Trentemöller classics in what will probably be their last appearance in the UK this year before Anders retires to the studio. Joining Anders and T.O.M. in the box will be the sublime house sounds of ClubClass resident Paolo Mojo and We Love resident for 2007 Serge Santiago.
In the bar another heavyweight lineup is on offer as Groove Monkey return to the Ministry to host the bar. Headlining their room is one of the hottest young properties in dance music today Chris Lake. Chris is of course responsible for numerous dancefloor destroyers such as ‘Changes’, ‘Release’ and his remix of ‘Discopolis’ and will be looking to display the same kind of exceptional form he was in when he played for ClubClass at the MoS back in January. Joining Chris is London house legends Paul Gardner and Wayne O’Connell aka the Soul Avengerz. Over the past decade Paul and Wayne have played at pretty much every venue in the nation’s capital, yet their appearances at the capital’s most famous nightclub have been rare to say the least. They’ll be pulling out all the stops to make sure it’s a Ministry return to remember. Completing the bar’s lineup is Groove Monkey residents Mowgli and Jonni Jones.
The Baby Box and the Lounge will also be in full swing on the night as Wales’ no.1 party Cool House take over the MoS’ 3rd room and Connected in the 4th. In 2006 alone Cool House attracted the likes of Funk D’Void, Layo & Bushwacka!, Desyn Masiello and Erol Alkan to their night and we’re delighted to welcome their awesome residents to be part of this huge event. The Connected room will also no doubt be rammed to the rafters as they make their Ministry debut after smashing Turnmills and Pacha to pieces on numerous occasions.
With Trentemöller back in town, back at the Ministry and back at the control of one of the world’s greatest soundsystems we predict even more anarchy than we witnessed back in November. So get your tickets today before the roadblock begins for what will be one of the biggest nights of the year!!
