After a well earned summer break, Supercool is back at Public Life for another bank holiday all day special on Sun 29th August.
After thinking long and hard about who we should get on board to provide the musical entertainment, we came to the conclusion that Jay Shepheard smashed it last time, so we've got him back again for you, only this time with a live set! Check out the video from last time here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7S3UMzzw74Y
This time, we're upping the ante a little and have invited not one, but two other amazing producers to join us in the toilet.
First up is local favourite Jozif. Although he has been DJing for a long time, it's only recently that Jozif has came to the attention of most, no doubt thanks to his fantastic EP on Zev & Gadi's Wolf and Lamb imprint. Collaborating with other artists like Craig Richards and The Mole, Jozif's music is also finding a home at other fantastic labels like Leftroom, Vitalik and major labels like Island Records! Sitting perfectly within the music tastes of Supercool we can't wait for Jozif to join us and treat us to a selection of his favourite tracks in such a small intimate venue.
The final guest joining the Supercool residents is Robert James. Another artist who is putting out some amazing records right now on Hot Creations, the wicked label from the Hot Natured duo Jamie Jones and Lee Foss. No doubt you will be aware of his Sleep Moods EP, even without realising it. 'Connected' (check it out here http://www.phonicarecords.com/product/view/64214) featured in Jamie Jones's Essential Mix for Radio 1 back in 2009 and a year later is still a firm favourite of ours. A definate star of the future Robert has followed it up with Malibu, a collaboration with another of the UK's future stars, Burnski. The perfect way to finish of our Bank Holiday lineup!
Support for our guests will come from Supercool residents Tommi, Nic Liu and Colette Delalez. All 3 are continuing to make an impression on the London clubscene having played at all of the city's major venues. Tommi & Nic are continuing to make steady progress on the production front with a remix already released this year on London based label Mighty Rumble with another confirmed release upcoming on Malaysian based label Love International. Most telling perhaps was their recent edit of the 1980's Dazz Band hit 'Let it Whip' which received support for a great variety of artists from esteemed labels like Cocoon, BPitch Control, Get Physical, Dirtybird and Upon You. SUPERCOOL BANK HOLIDAY SPECIAL

As with all our parties at Public Life we want to be able to give them to the friends of Supercool for £5! Even on a bank holiday with an amazing lineup. All we ask is that you please email us at [email protected] with the names you need on the £5 list and please put 'Bank Holiday' in the subject field. This will avoid you playing £10 on the door.
We are soon going to do a very limited batch of early bird tickets. These will guarantee entry up to a given time and priority entry after that point. Last time we got to 1-in-1-out so get down early! More info coming soon...
