Slow Dance is teaming up with Village Underground for the first in their series of events celebrating 15 years of the venue. Label and collective Slow Dance bring their signature blend of Post-punk and Club together for a night of heavy live acts into heady DJ sets, a mini festival celebrating the ins and outs of the labels sound.
Slow Dance, founded in 2016, is a profoundly DIY label and arts collective made up of artists, musicians, designers, managers and filmmakers. The collaborative nature of the organisation means that lines between art, music and industry sensibilities are blurred and evolved into something entirely new.
Slow Dance’s live event curation has seen them provide a platform to a variety of experimental and burgeoning artists (the likes of black midi, Jockstrap, Sorry, Goat Girl, PVA, Squid and more).
