QNA x QASC x Send Noodz presents RICE PALACE
celebrating the release of FIRE ISLAND
in partnership with Hulu
Sunday, June 12th, 4-9pm
Upstairs at the Ace
929 S Broadway, Los Angeles
In this house, we believe that it is APAHM year-round, so this Pride month we are celebrating our queer Asian sisters who WRITE, DIRECT, and STAR in motion pictures for the culture — we’re looking at you, Joel, Andrew, Bowen, Conrad, and Margaret! Join QNA, Queer Asian Social Club, and Send Noodz Upstairs at the Ace Hotel DTLA for an APAHM-Pride crossover Sunday funday pool party where we are going to channel all of the chosen fam vibes from FIRE ISLAND — be sure to watch the film before showing up so that you know if you identify as a Bennet, a Darcy, or a Bingley. We’re bringing you dual DJ decks, live performances, video art, a giant Adirondack chair for a Fire Island photobooth moment, ice cream and tattoos, and the absolutely highest of tea on the 14th floor — I bet you didn’t know Fire Island is actually on the west coast!!
Thanks to our partnership with Hulu, we will be serving complimentary bites and drinks until 5:45pm, so show up early — this event will have VERY LIMITED capacity and tickets will sell out quickly! Note that tickets only guarantee entry until 5:45pm, at which point the event will switch over to standby based on capacity.
