About Tantša - "Born to dance"
Tantša is an electronic music collective created in 2016, inspired by the growth of Techno in Europe, specifically the most industrial aesthetic, when the genre was still little widespread in Brazil. In 5 years in the event market, the collective has already presented two renowned international showcases: Cocoon and Photon.
The name of the festival means dance in a dialect of central Africa (sessoto), is a tribute to the black Americans who gave rise to techno and house music, who came from this region.
The producer Radix, which is now part of the collective, is responsible for major productions such as Apenkooi, open air electronic music festival, D.Side, e-music label launched by club D-Edge, and all editions of DGTL in Brazil. Founded in 2019, "Radix" stands for Root in Latin, the basis of everything that absorbs and drives energies.
Entourage, also part of the project, is the leading agency in Brazil representing artists and producing events in the electronic music market. Specialized in connecting artists and the public, the agency has a casting of at least 53 artists, besides being responsible for the production of famous festivals such as Time Warp Brasil, Kaballah and Só Track Boa.
Beyond the Party
Tantša has a record label that already has three releases. From the year 2022, the plan is that there are four to six launches per year, with their own investment, aimed at the promotion of national talent. The goal is to become Brazil's techno reference label for the world.
In addition, the collective invests in the fashion market and has already launched four fashion collabs. Two of them with Pornografitti and one with Nephew Clothing, renowned brands in streetwear, and another collab with the conceptual brand Das Haus.
