  • FAQ Festival presents a who's who of contemporary experimental music.
  • Whilst normally taking place every March, we are happy to announce that we have merged with befriended festival ‘November Music’ and from this year on FAQ Festival will take place every November. FAQ Festival is a festival for electronic music taking place at multiple venues throughout the city of ’s- Hertogenbosch. The festival explores experimental and popular Electronic music, ranging from seated concerts to a club night. On Thursday the 4th we will honour the work of Éliane Radigue. Starting by showing the film Sisters with Transistors at the Verkade Fabriek followed by a talk on Éliane’s work by Julia Eckhardt. Then in the evening there will be performances of Élianes work by Ensemble Klang, Carol Robinson and Louis-Michel Marion. These performances will take place at the Willem Twee Toonzaal and will include 2 brand new works. On Friday the 5th we will be back at the Willem Twee Toonzaal for a full night of music. Starting with Asuna playing 100 keyboards, followed by a quadrophonic piece by Jessica Ekomane. Jan Jelinek will be there honouring the work of Ursula Bogner and Pan Daijing is closing the evening. Then on Saturday the 6th the program will take place at multiple venues. By day Sonology student Oscar Peters presents a new installation in the Willem Twee Toonzaal. In the evening Jan Jelinek will play a duo with Sven-Åke Johansson at the Willem Twee Poppodium. Oren Ambarchi, Crys Cole. Russell Haswell and Paddy Steer will perform at the Verkade Fabriek. After the concerts there will be a closing club night with amongst others dj-sets by John Talabot, Jonny Nash and Mark Cremins. For tickets: www.faqfestival.nl
