La Rumba: Shanti Celeste

  • Sheffield promoter La Rumba take over the legendary Hope Works for the first time, inviting Shanti Celeste to headline.
  • La Rumba: The Return Season Phwoar, here we go then. We’re very excited to announce our debut at Hope Works coming up next month with none of other than the amazing Shanti Celeste on an extended set. We knew that when the time finally came to host an event on Sussex Road it would have to be something special that resonates with the brand, Hope Works, and the Sheffield community. One artist that has always stood out to us over the years is the Chilean DJ and Peach Discs label founder, Shanti Celeste. One of the hottest talents around in the UK and one of our true favourites, Shanti always brings the party with her infectious energy-fuelled style. Her last two shows in Sheffield at Signal were a roadblock affair and we expect this one to be no different. Some of our first and best ever parties in Sheffield were by Pretty Pretty Good at Hope Works, who brought world-class artists and production to gritty warehouses off the beaten track to little old Sheffield. We first saw Shanti play in Mesters for PPG before Objekt with Deetron, DJ Qu, and Roy Davis Jr in the main room and she absolutely tore it to a packed out room. As a result, it feels rather fitting to have the PPG founder and close friend of ours, Kudan, on support. Completing the lineup we have More Pussy 3mpire's Daebak, who’s been making waves on the Sheffield scene and who we’ve been itching to host since our We Out Here party with Djrum got cancelled just before the pandemic. Expect top-tier production, world-class sound by RAZE Sound System, and a hot & steamy room over at Hope Works on the 13th November. Artwork by Pomona Studio
