Theo Kottis Growing up between Scotland and Greece, Kottis started out as a promoter in Edinburgh while still in his late teens, before subsequently turning his hand to the decks. He's since held down residencies at Glasgow's Sub Club and with FLY Club at Cabaret Voltaire in the capital and has built a reputation as a standout DJ both locally and internationally through his ability to adapt his sets to multiple moods and environments. Check out Theo's boiler room from Fly Open Air 2019 to get a taste of his housey disco vibes! Louise Chen Born and raised in Luxembourg, From Taiwanese & French Heritage, Louise Chen has made her name in Paris and London, where she holds a residency on NTS radio. Read about her motivation for setting up club night Girls Girls Girls below: "Girls Girls Girls was born from frustration. I was in a relationship with a professional DJ and would go to his parties but he’d always ask me “You never seem to have fun when you come see me DJ, what’s up with that?” I told him, “Well the parties where you play at tend to be mainly men djs playing for a crowd of men in the mosh pit... I don’t feel engaged because nothing caters to me and what I look for when I go out partying. When I go out I want to feel sexy, I want R&B, hip-hop and anything that will allow me to express myself on the dancefloor but there’s no room for that in a mosh pit.” I had similar conversations with other girls that felt the same way so it was decided I’d try and organise a party with girls in mind. I offered them to turn the night into a collective and so we did more nights in Paris, Berlin, London, made a T-shirt collab, started getting booked as a DJ crew and voilà! Over time, we all went our separate ways to build our solo identities but it was a fun time." Ifeoluwa Since first becoming an active figure in electronic music, London’s Yewande Adeniran, aka Ifeoluwa, has always used their position of influence to push the boundaries of the underground community by uplifting and amplifying marginalised individuals. A writer, lecturer, NTS resident and founder of 404, Yewande is also well known for heading up INTERVENTION, the DJ and production workshop that travels the country offering a welcoming space for womxn, non-binary, people of colour and LGBT+ plus all the intersections. As a selector, their choice in sound works much to that same progressive mindset, forever testing the limits of a dancefloor through a journey of twisted electronics and club styles pulled from across the globe. A quality that has recently landed them a residency at Sheffield’s avant-garde music and arts festival No Bounds. Rachael (UK) As one of the driving forces behind Peckham record store and nightclub Rye Wax, she works hard behind the scenes of nightlife to improve the safety of clubber and DJs, as well as lending that expertise as a consultant for clubs across the UK. Rachael is an avid record collector with a highly curated and eclectic collection so expect disco, italo, house, new wave and some unexepected curveballs to get a spin. Conrad Lee Conrad Lee is an eclectic DJ and producer hailing from North London.
