As winter deepens so do Norm De Plume's selections at the wonderful hidden gem that is York Lane. On Sat 26th June Norm is back at the wonderful European style cafe-bar hidden away behind Wynyard Station in the heart of Sydney's CBD.
Norm De Plume (Delusions Of Grandeur, UK) will spin all-vinyl, all night long in the wonderfully cosy and intimate York Lane. With it's great selection of beers, wine, spirits and cocktails this bar is one of Sydney's best kept secrets.
Digging deep into his record collection. Deeply rooted in Afro-American dance music. A 6-hour Journey with selections across Disco, Boogie, Funk, Jazz, Electronica & Deep House - brought to you through an impeccably clear and crisp sound system (Norm's own vintage Tannoy studio monitors & audiophile power amp fed by his discrete circuit Condesa rotary mixer). An intimate evening session for dancers and music lovers.
Come early to get the full benefit and to hear some slower / chilled stuff before we get into the dancing! Our wonderful host Dieter @ York Lane has snack type food available, makes a mean Negroni 🍹(amongst other cocktails) and has the wonderful Japanese Orion Beer on tap 🍺
