Body Movements is East London’s first queer dance music festival. This multi-venue mega rave spans across 16 spaces in Hackney Wick, uniting the creative minds and movers of the LGBTQI+ dance music scene through a unique day and night of programming.
Collectives that have been spreading joy and queerness for years will be side-by-side, working together, sharing stages, dancers, energy and body movement.
We’ve invited over 40 emerging and established queer, non-binary and trans artists to soundtrack industrial spaces across the Wick in tandem with international greats from the global LGBTQI+ community. We are very excited to present our line-up to you in the coming weeks. London has yet to see one like it.
Body Movements is about shining a light on the people who remain integral to the LGBTQI+ clubbing and music scene. It’s time for our bodies, our talent and our movement, to take up space.
Body Movements. For My Body. Your Body. Their Body.

🔥 Music 🔥
We’re supporting local and established names which contribute to the LGBTQI+ dance music community in their own unique way. With a strong emphasis on independent collectives, labels and artists who make our scene the multifaceted melting pot it is today, we encourage our attendees to come with an open mind and fresh ears, ready to explore a plethora of sounds.
🍴Food & Drink 🍹
Whether you’re a meat lover or plant-based only, there are plenty of independent traders to satisfy every appetite. Walk around and enjoy a generous offering of food inside our venues, breweries, restaurants, cocktail bars and cafes dotted throughout the Wick.
Pay it Forward to our community.
We all deserve to move our bodies regardless of our financial position.
The "Pay It Forward" option encourages an ecosystem of care, not only will this ticket give you full access to the festival but will part fund another person's ticket too. As an independent festival with no external shareholder investment we feel it's important to work collectively in ensuring the full spectrum of LGBTQ+ identities are part of this celebration.x
