  • ANALOGUE DISCOGUE An all-vinyl adventure through vintage-audiophile sound hosted by London DJ-producer: Norm De Plume. Inspired by the hifi listening bars and dance parties in London, New York & Tokyo. Deep & uplifting selections across funk, boogie, disco & deep house. On 23rd May we take over the wonderful SILY courtyard for a Sunday afternoon/evening open air session of dancing in the heart of the Sydney CBD. WALTER MAJIK Co-owner and resident at the wonderful audiophile bar/restaurant Waxflower in Melbourne: Jimmy (as he's known to his friends) is also co-founder of one of the dopest deep/disco house labels to come out of Melbourne: Kyoku Records. NORM DE PLUME Norm De Plume (Delusions of Grandeur, UK) A musician from a young age, Norm started DJ'ing in '96 and moved to London to DJ and work in the music industry in 2001. He played Deep & Underground House & Disco in the UK's capital for the following 16 years. He cites his biggest influences as Ron Hardy, Theo Parrish and Sound Stream. He’s worked for Jimpster’s Freerange Records and Delusions of Grandeur labels since 2003, producing and presenting the Delusions Of Grandeur podcast for 6 years. In 2010 he launched his own vinyl-only imprint "Plumage". As a producer he's released EPs on Kolour Ltd, Delusions Of Grandeur, Black Riot & Plumage and has remixed the likes of Tornado Wallace & Ben La Desh amongst others. His music has found global support from many DJs, producers and radio hosts. He's a regular at the Delusions of Grandeur label parties at Fabric, Corsica Studio's & The Victoria in London & his international touring has taken him across northern Europe, to South America and Australasia. Norm relocated to Sydney in 2017. Playing mostly vinyl his club sound is a mixture of deep, filtered dubby & underground house, disco edits and original disco 12s. His current record: "Hear Us Now EP" (Better Listen US) drops 2020 late APril THE SOUND-SYSTEM: Pieced together with love and care by Norm De Plume and currently the only one of it's kind in public use in Sydney: - 1977 Klipsch La Scala speakers. - Tannoy R-15 Subwoofer - 1978 Quad 405 power amplifier. Upgraded op-amp. Re-capped in 2019. - Condesa Lucia discrete circuit rotary DJ mixer, built 2016. - Technics 1210 mk II turntables - fully refurbished inc. Isonoe Isolator feet and boots, triple shielded RCA interconnects. - Ortofon Club Mk II carts with eliptical styli.
