For almost a decade Peverelist's Livity Sound label has been at the vanguard of UK club music, putting its hometown of Bristol front and centre to international acclaim. On April 9th, Pev celebrates Easter Thursday at Hackney's Mick's Garage, inviting artists from the Livity extended family to join for a night of UK techno, sound system frequencies and body music.
Pinch, founder of Bristollian institutions Tectonic and Subloaded, will go toe-to-toe with Pev for a 3-hour b2b session. Together the two released 2018's essential compilation 'In Deep', spanning techno, grime, dubstep, jungle and more - expect a similar sonic landscape.
Danielle, who cut her teeth over a decade at Phonica and now resides in Bristol, is no stranger to low-end frequencies. In the NTS Radio hosts capable hands, bass-pulsing tension makes as much sense as angular techno abstractions.
Rounding things off are Kouslin and Two Shell, both rising London-based artists who've recently contributed killer releases to Livity Sound (Kouslin's will come out in March, Two Shells 'Access EP came out in Autumn).
