There are few musical trios whose standing has remained so consistent over the last seven years. With a devoted following, nurtured by the trio’s fondness for windingly crafted DJ sets, Apollonia have achieved something few artists can boast of. From DC-10 in Ibiza to Panorama Bar in Berlin, a love and passion for playing records is the underpinning factor in their performances, something which is seldom seen in today’s world.
On top of this, 2019 saw the launch of Apollonia’s debut Ibiza residency at newly refurbished club Octan. Titled Planet Claire, the residency has seen the French trio welcome some of the most revered selectors in the minimal soundscape - ranging from Nicolas Lutz and Francesco Del Garda to Omar and Djebali.
We are thrilled to launch our new event on the 29th of November, Apollonia will be bringing Planet Claire to London for the first time. The sprawling confines of our warehouse create the perfect space for the French trio to play All Night Long. While the intimate feel of our Black Studio will welcome a debut London back-to-back from two of minimals finest. A bespoke projector system will be in place in both rooms, forming an authentic and genuine Planet Claire experience.
Supporting Apollonia will be two artists from the international scene, whose sound is as encompassing as it is niche. Traumer, another shining light from France’s ever-flourishing output, will be going back-to-back with Cristi Cons, the fresh-faced other half of Romanian duo SIT.
Our special guests for the evening will be a record label and collective: Sentaku. A project that brings together the likemindedness of Josh Rawl and Massaï, their mutual passions lead to the inception of the brand in 2016 and since then, the team has welcomed a selection of the minimal genre's most admired artists in the forms of Diego Krause and S.A.M. This Friday, Dandeloo, Josh Rawl and Massaï will be representing the imprint, three inimitable selectors and regulars on London and Paris' ever-growing circuit.
