Bugged Out - one of the UK’s longest running club nights - celebrate 25 years since their inception on 16 November at Printworks. The pioneering night gave an early platform for genre sculpting artists like The Chemical Brothers and Daft Punk with a heavy influence on the UK’s festival scene too.
Bugged Out celebrate their milestone year with a stellar cast - Green Velvet played his first UK show at Bugged Out in 1996 and will fittingly be treating us with a highly anticipated closing set. Chief exponents of mutant, absurdist techno Modeselektor will be offering up their trademark genre hopping selections. Expect the unexpected.
It wouldn't be a Bugged Out party without the inclusion of Erol Alkan, who was snapped up as a Bugged Out resident back in 2001. He’s delivered infinite memorable moments for the party over the years and will play in both the Press Halls and the Dark Room for this show to reflect Bugged Out and Bugged In. Dusky joins the party off the back of their sell out live shows and legendary ‘all night longs’ we’ve come to love. They’ll play two sets in the Press Halls and will close the Dark Room with a rarely seen rave set.
Jungle, the Shepherds Bush soul collective, will man the decks in the afternoon showing an alternative side of their famed pop-punk sound. Rounding up the line up will be rising London stars Fall Forward, Jay Carder, Raw Silk and Grainger. Expect some surprises on the night in the Dark Room with some special guests to be added as Bugged Out closes in on two and a half decades of music. Close friends of Bugged Out will be joining us for 25 minute sets including Justin Robertson, Mylo with more to be announced.
