YSTEM returns to Club 77 this week for more of the finest tech house, minimal and techno in Sydney. This week we welcome two new guests Mark Craven and Shannon Williams who will joined by residents Adam Coverdale and Jameson.
Mark’s DJing has taken him from his home country, Ireland, through England, Ibiza, and now Sydney.
Highlights include: Being chosen by Mixmag to warm up for Dave Clarke at Snowbombing festival 05 and was invited back to following year to play the Rotterdam Street parade and then billed with himself and Darren Emerson in Austria.
Winning the IDJ Raw talent competition just before coming to Australia and selected as Top Pick in DJ mag-
“ Mark Craven’s set leads us down a trippy, downright filthy mix of groovy minimal and techno. It is everything a DJ set should be – underground, forward-thinking and technically perfect. With hints of Chicago house and Detroit techno, this lad proves he’s a proper talent waiting to be discovered. Life-affirming stuff.” (DJ MAG)
Shannon originally hails from Sydney and has been djing in the UK for the last 6 years. Playing along side the likes of Pig&Dan, Miss Kitten, Chris Liberator, and D.A.V.E. drummer, Shannon’s style developed in London. Playing at the likes of Egg nightclub in london, the ever popular Wetyourself nights and the massive Technovile festivals in wales Shannon returns to Sydney with a record bag brimming with new tracks from the UK.
