Iconic London party Faith celebrate the 20th anniversary with one last dance at The Cause with a day and night party on Sat Sep 7th.
All the original members and residents DJs (Terry Farley, Stuart Patterson, Dave Jarvis, Leo Zero and Bill Brewster) are back for this one and they are joined by two true heavyweights of the scene to headline the house (Byron The Aquarius) and disco (Maurice Fulton) rooms at night. Before that there's a chance to dance outside in the courtyard from 4 until 10pm, then we move inside for two rooms of real house and proper disco. Please bring ID for entry
Faith the party was launched August '99 at a small basement club in London's West End .The party quickly became London's go to movable club night, selling out Fabric on Boxing Day of the same year. London wise the party sold out (always in advance) large venues like The Cross, Pacha and their legendary six room affairs at Turnmills always with a mix of the World's finest djs. From house royalty including Ame, Dennis Ferrer, Dixon, DJ Sneak, David Duriez, Paul Woolford, DJ Heather, Ralph Lawson, Honey Dijon, Matthias Tanzmann and D Julz.
They also tried to incorporate at least a second alternative room with djs at diverse as Daniel Wang, Rahaan, Maurice Fulton, Gilles Peterson, Norman Jay, The UnaBombers, Idjut Boys, to an Andy Weatherall reggae set at one of the Turnmills specials.
Faith also held the biggest boat parties in London on the 650 capacity Silver Sturgeon with guests as diverse as Derrick May, Switch, Danny Rampling and Jesse Rose.
Huge excursions to Brighton with Miguel Migs, Matthias Hellbron and DJ Spinna and another to a mansion house alongside Secret Sundaze in East Grinstead with Derrick Carter and Rub n Tug .
Ten years at The Garden Festival Croatia with the infamous boat parties preceded by plenty of summers in Ibiza.
Soon after the parties began the fanzine was launched which quickly became a must have collectors item for house lovers the World over.
Four compilations followed Faith Vol 1 + 2, Different Strokes For House Folks on NRK and finally House Ain;t Dead on BBE.
Followed by the infamous forum on faithfanzine.com, Faith was always about the community around the parties and music and will celebrate 20 years with this big final party in London.
