Pulling together a crop of Myhouse-Yourhouse DJs both local and further afield for a dubbed out and bass heavy dive into some proper underground house.
Fling up yer wig with the following DJs...
Currently riding a wave of deserved notoriety that shows no sign of breaking, Rack'em's burgeoning discography consistently finds its way into the record bags of the of the scenes most ground-breaking DJs and into the minds of those on the dancefloor. Following air play of his tracks on Radio 1's "Worldwide" show with Gilles Peterson, he's played at the Worldwide Awards in London, The Big Chill Festival (and their respective bars in London), Glastonbury, Bestival, Snow Bombing Festival and holds down a residency as Vibe Bar in London!!! It's been a busy year for Nottingham's latest success story!
One half of Rhythm Plate and one half of Bleep District makes one whole Matt Rhythm! Rhythm Plate's first releases were courtesy of DiY Discs, the record label offshoot of the legendary DiY Soundsystem who have just celebrated 20 years of pioneering deep house music. Still releasing records on various labels and now involved in a new project, Bleep Disctrict, Matt's always on demand at parties both as great DJ and comedy guest.
Co-founder of the Myhouse-Yourhouse network and the chap responsible for all this party lunacy, Alex has received press attention from the BBC and Channel 4, and has brought a variety of DJs, including Charles Webster, Move D, Linkwood, Atjazz, Chris Duckenfield and Demarkus Lewis to the turntables of the highly respected and well attended MHYH parties in Nottingham. As well a residency in Sheffield and recent gigs all over the UK and in Europe, he is also the curator of the Siesta Project concept; a weekly afternoon event of downtempo non-in-your-face music in any form.
One of MHYH's longest serving and most significantly hairless DJs, Si James' trademark sound sticks its head and shoulders above the vast amount of house music in the "deep house" basket. Charged with the monthly organisation of his "DEEP HOUSE AND THINGS" event in London's King's Cross and a regular guest at London's highly-respected "Peg" parties, Si's no stranger to the decks in Nottingham where his brand of deep house contrasts brilliantly with any you'll hear elsewhere around Nottingham.
