The music will be a treat, through House music and it's roots. Danny Rampling has long been a figure synonymous with House music around the world. Part of the team responsible for bringing us this wonderful music to the UK – through his groundbreaking club nights, to his 8 years of Love Groove Dance Party on BBC Radio1. Rampling's LGDP personified the spirit of House music, of positivity and freedom. So it's with great admiration that we welcome him to the Amnesty International turntables for an exclusive delve through some of his favourite tracks.
From one legend to another, Terry Farley, from the birth of Junior Boy's Own with Pete Heller and Andy Weatherall nearly 20 years back, Terry Farley pioneered House music and planted the UK on the dance music map, worldwide. He's produced for the likes of Primal Scream, Happy Mondays, New Order, Pet Shop Boys. Had massive success with Underworld and X-Press 2 amongst others, right through to sell out Boy's Own club nights to date.
From legends to the new school, Ali Tillett's Warm is probably responsible for a lot more than you would think. He has helped to shape the club scene of today, brought us live performances from the likes of Henrik Schwarz or Chateau Flight, to the might of the Horse Meat Disco! Ali represents a true love of dance music, especially the disco variety – made in outer space.
