His debut 12”, ‘Runark’, a tearing piece of ghetto-bass house crammed with accelerated video-game samples, was released on Fool’s Gold, A-Trak's label last February. Since then Congorock's status has continued to rise, to the point that he is now one of Italy's most in demand exports. ACT YO AGE (Sweat it Out, Australia) http://www.myspace.com/actyoageforever Coming live and direct from a love bunker deep in the neon gothic forests of Xanadu, they are rapidly shaking the fruit from which the apple fell. Bringing forbidden sonic fruits to the hungry zombie masses across this universe and into the next. Part werewolf, part faster pussy cat, part robot love machine, they ride fearlessly through the intergalactic night and enter the strobe zone, cutting down imitators in their path and loving freely at each and every turn. They do not go quietly nor do they travel unarmed. They pack an attitude adjustment ray gun set to decimate and aimed squarly at at demon or dancer that knows how to shake and back. They believe all that glitters is not gold, nor kyrptonite for that matter. They are oft to be found on midnight forays for rainbow dust, pixie blood and endlessness itself, that nearly always end in tears. They have been hyped and tipped to be the next best thing, but these two night freaks say they will be content with a rumble in the bassbins, a zap in the speakers and nothing less than murder on the dancefloor. IAN ROBINSON (Trailer Trash) http://www.myspace.com/ianrobinsondj In brief... Ian lives in Hackney and he likes music. He is a resident DJ at Trailer Trash and also DJs at other clubs. Occasionally attempting to produce his own music, heralding a wide scope of varying results. Thankfully having heard him DJ on many occasions we know the result is always fantastic! Ian's first visit saw him rock the basement and we're sure this time is going to be every bit as good. PETER PIXZEL (WYS/Always Fridays) http://www.myspace.com/peterpixzel Described as a "One Man Rave,” the Copenhagen-born, London-based DJ/producer has been trotting global dancefloors (from Berlin to Tokyo to Milan) for the better part of a decade, making wondrous music every step the way. Signed to KISMET Records, home of his imaginative remixes and ‘SynthReich’ EP, Peter Pixzel is a prolific producer to keep an eye on, and a brilliantly unpredictable DJ for your head, ears and feet. With beginnings as a house DJ back in 1998 (as resident of Copenhagen’s Mantra nightclub, run by the boss of the legendary Multiplex Records), in-between a myriad of lively gigs Pixzel is currently a resident for both Temba and Always Fridays and of course WetYourSelf at the world famous Fabric in London. JACOB HUSLEY (WYS/Always Fridays) http://www.myspace.com/jacobhusley Resident at Always Fridays and Wet Yourself as well as being signed to Kismet Recs, Jacob Husley will be working the AF crowd with his trademark bouncy techno, twisted electro and maximal minimal. JOHN & ON (Always Fridays) http://www.myspace.com/john_and_on_and_on AF resident John & On spins a mix of bass heavy techno and late night wonky house TOMMI (Always Fridays) http://www.myspace.com/tommidj With recent gigs including one of the final Trailer Trash parties and Bugged Out, 2009 is firmly establishing Tommi as one to watch. Monthly resident Tommi returns to Always Fridays and brings with him an array of techno vibes. _ ¦ _ ¯ ¦ ¯ _ ¦ _ ¯ ¦ ¯ _ ¦ _ ¯ ¦
