Making a strong impact on the underground scene in the 90′s, Point G gained much respect amongst his peers with timeless releases 'Underwater" or 'Chicken Coma"… In his absence, a cult following grew, rare vinyl pressings of his mid-nineties tracks became notoriously difficult to find and are now highly regarded. Just a year ago Point G announced he was coming back, re-releasing some of his classic material through the new generation.
The return of one of Paris' most revered underground heroes began with the re-release of some of his highly sought after back catalogue. First it was Real Tone record label that facilitated the release of Chicken Coma from The Raw EP and Confusion, then fellow Frenchmen Apollonia (Dyed Soundorom, Dan Ghenacia and Shonky) unleashed Underwater via their own imprint.
Point G also revealed that there was plenty of new music on the way, too, as the project that was first launched in the mid-nineties was rejuvenated for an assault on the 21st Century. And now that new material is here, released in tandem with the launch of Point G Records… cue the fanfare!
