Jaded's Autumn 2018 begins with a nine-week-long mission to bring the most explosively talented rising acts from the UK and Europe together to form one unholy Sunday riot. We want the techno children of London to be torn between rooms, sweat, be challenged and leave Corsica Studios utterly broken but inspired, armed with at least one new discovery…
Room 1 sees a powerful succession of debuts and duels from the most talented heavyweights & newcomers of the scene. Bringing together acts that have never appeared on the same bill, but that we’ve been dying to hear together for the first time. As always, they’ll be deftly supported by our 4 main residents - Raymundo Rodriguez, Chris Stanford, Stephanie Sykes & Julez Wyl.
Room 2 sees a series of invasions by guest curators and collectives from around the UK. Some of this talent is just starting out, and the raw energy will be palpable. Boundaries should be broken, and a supportive atmosphere of anarchy and artistry is envisioned.
Sunday 9th September – Jaded with VTSS vs AZF
VTSS brings some of the purest energy to her expressive & raw sets. As a resident of the infamous label/party Brutaż, VTSS has been challenging crowds in Warsaw and across Europe. Her performances oscillate around techno, EBM, rave, industrial and beyond. Having made an incendiary live debut (headlining for our brilliant room 2 invaders) earlier this year, she returns to London to play her first DJ set.
AZF (Rinse France – UK Debut)
This icon of the French techno scene and high priestess of the anarchic Qui Embrouille Qui, steps up to show London what she’s all about for the first time. Reports from her gigs at Nuits Sonores, Concrete & Tresor suggest that the end may well be nigh when battle commences at 9am.
Charles Green (Revenge Techniques)
Charles Green makes his Jaded Room 1 debut. The long-time Jaded Room 2 resident and Brighton boy-done-good is behind some of this year’s most stunning releases including the phenomenal REVENGE2 on TAFKAMP’s Revenge Techniques. It’s high time he makes his transition to the main floor.
APOGEE (London - Room 2 Takeover)
Over in Room 2, we welcome Apogee. Industrial-tinged techno & EBM, solid residents, obsessive attention to detail and music knowledge define this young London techno collective. The entire crew - Abstraction, Goat and A Lesson In Physical Education will represent.
