Join us after the Independent Music Cup for a good cause and rousing party featuring Mumdance, Monki, object blue and more—including a special guest that's still a secret... for now.
The Independent Music Cup is back for the fourth year running, this year all money raised will be going towards The Young Urban Arts Foundation.
The IMC will bring together 35 5-a-side mixed gender football teams from the music industry to compete on the 28th July at Shoreditch Powerleague. After the tournament Resident Advisor will be hosting an after party at The Lion & The Lamb with very special guests TBA.
All proceeds from the tournament will go directly to YUAF, a grass-roots charity which focuses on helping vulnerable and disadvantaged young people fulfil their potential by building their skills in the arts.
The money raised will specifically allow YUAF to deliver their Skip To The Beat mental health programme, working with a specific class of 14-15 year olds from London who have been referred into a pupil referral unit. Most have all experienced high levels of trauma, which has lead to suffering with mental health conditions and come from disadvantaged backgrounds. These programmes will help them to identify and self-manage their conditions, build self-confidence, resilience and create a better a chance in life.
