Killekill Summer Camp: NYX vs. The Brvtalist

  • The Killekill Summer Camp is series of midweek events through July and August in reminiscence to the legendary Wednesdays of Killekill at Berghain Kantine, where everything started 10 years ago. For the opening we present a collaboration of the new promoting project NYX with THE BRVTALIST, one of the scene's key media outlets. ---- Info: The daughter of Chaos, a shadowy figure, Nyx stood at or near the beginning of creation and mothered other personified deities such as Moros (Doom), Keres (Destructon), Thanatos (Death), Hypnos (Sleep), the Oneiroi (Dreams), Momus (Blame) and Oizys (Pain, Distress). Her appearances are sparse in surviving mythology, but reveal her as a figure of such exceptional power and beauty that she is feared by Zeus himself. NYX was an ancient deity usually envisaged as the very substance of the night--a veil of dark mists drawn across the sky to obscure the light of Aither, the shining blue of the heavens. NYX is Night. The Brvtalist, drawing inspiration from Hades, lord of the underworld, joins forces with NYX to conjure a gathering of mythical and contemporary forces to celebrate the commencement of an event series, the first chapter being Keres (Destruction).
