Korea Town Acid Live

  • Join us at Secret Project Robot for a night of beats, rhythms and experimental electronic music! Keishh is a music producer living in Brooklyn who's sound veers towards 808 drums and funky rhythms. She most recently had music featured on HBO's "Insecure" and is collaborating on music with rappers and singers all over the NYC area. Tab Jones has been playing shows all over NYC this past year and this will be his first time performing at Secret Project Robot. Expect a "live and direct' style of dirty hip hop beats with a special appearance from Queens rapper DFNS. Lumika is an electronic trio from Union City featuring JWORDS. Lumika's sound defies genres and takes inspiration from all over. Just imagine what it would sound like if you put your Trax and Teklife records into a blender. Hmmm! Yummy! Korea Town Acid is Jess Cho from Toronto. Jess has been playing a steady stream of gigs all over her city and most recently opened for Ice Cream. She describes her sound as "Techno Jazz". Her debut album is due out in April on Cosmic Resonance. Loretta Aberdeen will be bringing their own brand of left-field techno to close out the night. After playing shows with Trance Farmers and releasing tapes on Paxico Records and Acorn Tapes, Loretta has fine tuned their sound to bring you something you will never forget.
