After our run at Concrete as part of last year’s In Residence series, we just had to get back to Paris for a one-off show in 2017. The riverside club has fantastic sound, an amazing vibe, and, now, a 24-hour license. The license was the icing on the cake—it allows us to put together a lineup that shows the breadth of everything the club is about, with fresh sounds from across the musical spectrum.
When we started putting the lineup together, there was one name we wanted playing as the the sun was pouring into the main room of the boat: Daphni. (And this was before we’d heard Fabriclive 93 or his latest album, Joli Mai.) Also bringing the house vibes, we’ve got Chez Damier and Ben Vedren’s H2H project, while Detroit’s Scott Zacharias will bring his trademark disco sleaze. Keita Sano will play live, while Francois X, a Concrete resident and local legend, will be adding some techno energy to the room, alongside another Parisian favourite, Théo Muller. Two Central Processing Unit-affiliated artists will be bringing an electro and IDM twist: Trypheme and Annie Hall. A number of acts that selectors that operate on the fringes of dance music will also be playing: Salon Des Amateurs resident Vladimir Ivkovic, who runs the excellent Offen Music, plus NTS host Elena Colombi, Paris’s OKO DJ, and Berlin’s Gigsta.
We can’t wait to get back there—see you front left.
