August is deep summer, you’re hopefully tanned and happy, and PATSY is back on the 18th to bring you great joy with guest DJs from Paris, New York, and beyond!
Headlining in the basement is skilled selector and total babe Markus Ȼhaak from Paris, whose dynamic sets of house, afrobeat, and disco leave queer people swooning in underground spaces across the City of Lights. Preceding Markus is Whitney Weiss, who played every damn party of note for New York Pride and has been recovering ever since. Expect a sultry disco warm-up and vocals.
Have you heard Jaye Ward’s radio shows? They’re brilliantly curated selections of obscure yet familiar songs ranging from euphoric 90s electronic to sleazy sexy weirdness. She’s bringing some of the best chunks of her record collection and taking over upstairs for two hours. Trust that you don’t want to miss this!
She’s joined by the nomadic and talented SST (CHERYL) a PATSY favorite and up-and-coming international DJ who loves glitter, other people's pets, and heavy bass. Expect an uplifting summer set of well-selected danceable music.
Starting things off is Ali Gitlow, publisher of all that is cutting edge and underground and occasional Red Bull/VICE contributor, who has been going out for ages and is finally making her formal DJ debut with us! We are honored and excited for what surprises she has in store.
As always, our go-go boy Sasha will add to the ambiance with his nimble moves and boyish grin!
Starts at 9, free until 10pm, and a reasonable 6 pounds after.
See you on the 18th sweetie darlings!
