    Shield is probabily known as owner and mastermind of Rebirth Records, but his journey began away back in 1998 when he started the collaboration with Bacci Productions, remixing for the legendary american label Easy Street artists like De’Lacy, Shawnee Taylor and Debbie Pender. After working as A&R and promoter for Oxyd Records, In 2006 Shield set up his own record label, Rebirth Records, which has surely grown up over the years into the most respected Italian independent label. With an ethos centered on the foundations of house music, Rebirth has always refused to conform and follow trends; instead he created his own sound, combining the soul and the warmth of a melody with new technologies. Rebirth has become home of artists like Joey Negro, Agoria, Butch, Marc Romboy, Freaks, Rampa, Blond:ish, Michel Cleis, Osunlade, and launched Tevo Howard, Robytek, Blue Mondays, Bocca Grande, Alison Marks Corrado Bucci, Chromatic Filters, ILO and James Teej. As one half of NUfrequency (alongside Cristiano Massera), Shield was responsible for producing the timeless songs ‘Go That Deep’ (featuring the legendary Shara Nelson) and ‘Fallen Hero’ (featuring Ben Onono) both included in the first album ‘Connected’. Over the years Shield produced remixes for labels like Slip’N Slide, Yellow, Miso and a few re-edits of house classics like ‘Tears’ by Frankie Knuckles, ‘Club Lonely’ by Lil’Louis and ‘Vooodoo Ray’ by A Guy Called Gerald that made jumpin djs like Luciano, Carl Craig, Pete Tong, Laurent Garnier, Locodice, Louie Vega, Seth Troxler, François K, Jamie Jones, Kerri Chandler, Agoria, Dusky and many others. Alongside Robytek he gave life to the singles ‘Pump It’ featuring Foremost Poets in 2009, the strong ‘Dowtntown Soul’ in 2011 and an official take on Adeva’s gave classic ‘In and Out of My Life’. In 2012 the release of ‘Way Of Life’ EP on Luciano’s label Cadenza. In 2014 the edit of ‘The Infamous’ by Butch & C.Vogt become one of the biggest tracks of the summer, and most played in Ibiza. In 2015 Shield reworks ‘Free Bass’ by Joey Negro with Corrado Bucci. In 2016 his re-edit of Alison Limerick’s classic ‘Where Love Lives’ is officially released on Sony Music. In 2017 the new single ‘NOW’, in collaboration with Sal P & Dennis Young (from the New York seminal band Liquid Liquid), remixed by Paranoid London and Playgroup. In 2018 Shield remixed Emanuel Satie’s big track 'Don’t Forget To Go Home' and in 2019 is scheduled the release of 'Habanera' produced together with Robytek and the amazing Katia Ricciarelli. Shield played gigs around the world including Berlin (Tresor and Salon Renate in Berlin), New York (Output), Paris (Djoon and Badaboum), London (The Egg, Ministry Of Sound), Ibiza (Pacha, Eden, Cafe’ Mambo and Cafe’ Del Mar), Miami (Nikki Beach, Shelbourne, Do Not Sit On The Furniture and Club Sin) and many others.
