Biography

  • Margot LOX
After years of attending shows, clubs, and festivals, Margot Lockridge aka Margot LOX, realized that just listening to music was not good enough. With the desire to take her love of music to the next level, Margot bought a pair of turn tables and started digging in crates. While she grew up listening to Hip Hop and R&B, her love of House music and Techno prevail over everything, including sub genres such as Tech House, Deep, Minimal, and Tribal. Feeling compelled to spread the gospel of House and Techno, Margot LOX started her life long love affair with musical/vibe curation. Since Margot's first gig in early 2013, she has continuously played at clubs, lounges, and bars all over her hometown of Los Angeles. In October of 2014, Margot left Los Angeles to travel and play around the United States and the world. She has played gigs in San Francisco, Chicago, Minneapolis, Detroit, New Orleans, Atlanta, and Jackson. Internationally, she has played in Mexico, Belize, Brazil, South Africa, Spain, Hungary and Germany.
