Jaded are a DJ and Production trio from London who are best known for their quirky and bumpy house driven vocal tracks. They have had releases on Black Butter Records and Dirtybird Records.
It's rare to find three talented musicians working together, and even rarer to find them using their talents as a production and DJing power trio. Jaded cottoned on to how well they work together, and formed to make a gang who behind the decks play to each other's strengths.
The house-centric trinity was first discovered via Black Butter's Spread love series, a compilation that shines a light on the up and coming acts that the label has their eyes and ears on. With tracks like “Gully Creeper” on Vol.4 and “Revolution” on Vol.5 of the compilation, the guys made some ripples on a dancefloor or two, as well as got some steady radio rinsing in their native UK. The members even have a few high profile remixes under their belts, one of which was for a Knight by the name of Paul McCartney.
With their UK garage-leaning EP “Big Round & Juicy” out on Black Butter records, and their latest single "Made In China" out on Dirtybird Records, Jaded clearly have a knack for linking together some pretty nasty club sounds too.
With a sound that’s big, bassy and broad with references both rooted in UK house and garage and the likes of Dirtybird boys in San Francisco, it’s hard not to enjoy what they do.
The strong national radio and club support of their latest EP from the likes of Hannah Wants, Gorgon City, DJ Target, Danny Howard, Tough Love and more, just goes to show that Jaded are quickly becoming a name to look out for. Paul McCartney knows them. So you should too…
