Biography

  • I've been DJing for 27 years and was resident DJ at the Warehouse Project and Sankeys Soap in Manchester UK between 2001 and 2022.
During this time, I played in clubs and festivals all over the UK and Europe, with highlights including Sonar Barcelona, Sub Club Glasgow, Back to Basis Leeds & Space Ibiza. With residences, i played alongside the A to Z of everyone i looked up to as a young obsessed lad growing up rural Wales. So many years of pure fun, mischief and great memories, in what will be remembered as a unique chapter and transitional time period in this outrageous scene (from no phones, barely any internet to the beast it is today). I'm passionate about all things acid house, with a collection of around 18,000 records from jazz, through every colour of house, to the hardest techno. I've naturally cut down on gigs, particularly over the last few years, to spend more time with my children on the weekends and to focus on my more serious career in infrastructure project management, but i'm still actively collecting music. Without social media presence (its sad how PR and socials have shaped the scene), I struggle to connect to audience and promoters, but i maintain a sharp eye for new uncompromising powerful music with soul and energy. I'm always ready and armed to attack a dance floor.
