Following the closure in 2004 of the previous Liquidroom in Shinjuku, Liquidroom now stands in Ebisu, and complete with its new design, functions as a live show venue, café lounge and gallery complex.
At the previous site in Shinjuku, Liquidroom was widely known as a large club with techno and house nights, welcoming both domestic and overseas artists. After having moved to Ebisu, the current venue's line-up is mostly comprised of live shows from bands, which are held during the day. (Late nights events are still occasionally hosted, though.) The main dance floor is equipped with one of the leading sound systems in the country, and has enough space to allow a capacity of around 900. On the second floor you'll find Liquid Loft and the gallery KATA where private parties can be held.
