Hidden behind an unassuming glass porch on a whitewashed brick wall at the back of Ely's Yard is one of Truman’s best kept secrets: Juju's Bar & Stage. This old cavernous warehouse space has hosted everything from gigs and exhibitions to film shoots, immersive theatre productions, dance performances and parties.
Serving coffee, craft beer and cocktails, the venue is a meeting place for local professionals during the day. It is also used communally by local artists as an open rehearsal space and hosts a regular schedule of in-house events, including live music, comedy, play readings, dance, spoken word, capoeira classes, workshops and more.
In addition to the main space, Juju's outdoor ‘Palm Tree Bar’ offers a spacious area for warm summer evenings, with live jazz every Thursday, while a cosy little beer garden round the back offers some outdoor privacy during the daytime too.
